a belated “thank you and goodnight”

September 7, 2009

Hey all, I know its a wee bit late but just wanted to send a huge thank you to everyone: the Troon gig crew for all your efforts and enthusiasm (absolute highlight of my Scottish adventure!); everyone who wanted to play Troon but couldn’t; everyone who made it to my last ukearist; and indeed everyone who didn’t! And the very lovely staff at Sofi’s too for that matter!

I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed every ukearist moment, thanks to you all, and I’m absolutely stoked about how it’s all worked out and will continue to, no doubt!

Big thanks especially to John and Chris. I look forward to hearing about future ukearist escapades and I promise to share with you any exciting developments within the Ukearist Southern Division.

Off now for a cup of tea in that marvellous mug. And perhaps a wee strum too 🙂 See you on the flipside.

Arohanui,

Shane

    Hi Shane me old squire!

I have been terrible at checking the site and have to admit I don’t think i’ve checked it since your departure. I was in rebellion!! Just kidding mate.
Hope you are well, it certainly sounds like all the pieces are fitting together nicely, which is great to hear.

I’m slowly getting over you not being there at Ukearist…… slowly I said!

    Chris 😉

    Hi Shane,

Sorry I missed your last Ukearist. August was just mad with festival things. All the best for the future, and thanks so much for all the fun and all your helpful guidance at Ukearist. As John notes, it won’t be quite the same without you. We’ll raise a rousing chorus of Folsom Prison Blues to you in your absence!

    Anthony.

Adios amigo! It sure has been fun, loved every minute of it! Thanks so much for all your help in making the ukearist what it is, won’t the same without you.

Will look forward to hearing about the Antipodean uke adventures! Hopefully one day you’ll make it back over here for a ukearist reunion.

    toodle pip!
