Next meeting – 5th November
Last year we had a Spooky Tunes night for the meeting around Hallowe’en. There is no meeting conveniently close to Hallowe’en this year, but there is one on 5th November, which in these parts is of course known as Guy Fawkes Night, Bonfire Night or Fireworks Night. As far as I know there aren’t (m)any songs about gunpowder, treason and plot so we’ll be having a themed night on the subject of fire. Here are some fiery tunes to get started with (some we know, some we don’t), with links to the ones we don’t already have.

All suggestions welcome, or bring along a few copies of any hot stuff you know or have a burning ambition to play, and we’ll see what happens.
